Then... Post-Modernist Movement


The center cannot hold? 
... 
There is no center!


Modernist poets adopt the view that there is no "one [inherent] truth" to be found, there is not a center to everything, and there is not just one way to express art. 

Each Poet Finds Their Own Way...


A monk asked, "What is the one word?"
The master said, "If you hold on to one word it will make an old man of you."
